Dear resident’s Hope you are all well and having a good week. Below is a snapshot of some of the work that has been done by the team over the last month across the neighbourhood- Letter drop conducted in the Shearwater Road area- ASB with bicycles, e-scooters and e-bikes, causing a nuisance outside our home, shouting, swearing, throwing things, football in the street around parked cars, doing wheelies on bikes. Officers conducted x3 stop and search/s resulting in a cannabis warning being issued- Bloxwich Road (31/07/26) The team assisted with road closures and traffic management due to a wildfire in the Barr Beacon area (20/0826) PCSOs also support scene management -WESTERN AVENUE, BENTLEY (02/08/26) PCSOs also attended a log regarding a child on their own – Swannies field. Our team were able to work with our response team and ensure the child was safeguarded and returned home safely (03/08/26) Stolen vehicle located and seized in the Hollemeadow Ave area (04/08/26) Cuppa with a copper session/s held- Christ Church Blakenall and Starbucks, Reedswood retail park (08/09 August) Officers arrested a male for threats to kill on the 8th of August- Goldsmiths Road area of Blakenall. Joint visits conducted with Walsall Housing in the Stowe St area (13/08/26) The team took part in Walsall Council’s Healthy Spaces summer activities on the 17th of August in Reedswood Park- the activity was a nature trail based around the story- ‘We are going on a bear hunt’ PCSO Waddington read the story to the families who attended. Patrols have been conducted on the national express services 69 and 70 after reports of an assault on the 09/08/26. This was on the 69 service at around lunchtime (11:55)- should anyone have any information regarding this incident please contact 101 quoting 20/357371/26 Patrols have been conducted in the green space/woodland areas on green lane, after concerns were raised of people sleeping rough. Litter pick was conducted by the team in the Remington Road area of Beechdale, approx. 20 cannisters of nitrous oxide were collected and x4 bags of rubbish. Walsall Council were also informed after burnt fly tip was discovered in the area. 18/08/26- female arrested for breach of tag by officers in the Green Lane area. X1 male arrested in relation to criminal damage offences committed in the Stephenson Sq area of Beechdale. Cuppa copper at St Chads Church Hall- with information regarding the dangers of nitrous oxide handed out. 18/08/26. Patrols have been conducted in the Ramson’s Way area of Goscote in response to reports of cars/person’s gathering at the location late at night into the early hours of the morning. PCSOs attended a resident’s morning at Lockside Pointe, Lockside Rd, Walsall WS2 8FE- various topics discussed and overall positive engagement had. The team took part in OP Advance 28th August carrying out arrests, vehicle patrols, drug searches, community letter drops and engagement with the community as part of #OpAdvance The team also received support from the Dog Unit, dog handler PC Palmer and her sniffer dog PD Tez as they carried out searches for drugs in the Burrowes St area in response to reports regarding drug dealing. The team then carried out community letter drops in the Remington Road area which has been suffering from anti-social behaviour and had some good engagement with members of the community The team made an arrest on the morning of the 28th, taking into custody a 42-year-old man who was wanted on suspicion of harassment. We also discovered drugs following a stop and search. He remains in custody as we continue with our enquiries The team attended a youth group at Walsall Church, Seventh Day Adventist North Street. Great positive engagement from the children and attendees of the church. The venue for this meeting is St Chads Parish Hall - 71 Edison Rd, Bloxwich Pact meetings are a great way to raise any issues or concerns you may have; we invite partners from housing and the Council to attend.
